Ordinary People is a multi-disciplinary design studio specializing in brand strategy and art direction. Founded in 2006, they work across various media on cultural and commercial projects. Exploring contemporary cultures and visual language utilizing modern technologies. We met with partner Jin Kang who shared several branding projects with us.
Hezin O has been running a graphic design studio OYE since 2014 and encompassing various visual media. During our studio visit Hezin shared about her design philosophy and several of her book design projects.
Suzin Kwon is interested in visual language without boundaries and aims to design flexibly between various media.
Choi Sulki and Choi Sung Min are graphic designers working around Seoul, South Korea. We met with Min Choi who shared about Sulki and Min's work and had a discussion about design.

Chat Architects is an architectural firm founded by Chatpong Chuenrudeemol, an architect who is deeply fascinated by Bangkok’s beauty and ugliness. It’s not easy to view your own work objectively. In such cases, it can help to think as if you were commissioned to design someone else’s portfolio. For example, imagine you’ve been assigned the employment project of a designer named “Youmin Kye.” The goal of this project shouldn’t just be to create a cool portfolio but to help this designer get hired by their desired company.

Whether it's diving deep into design theory, mastering type design, or learning web programming, it's important to strike a balance between what genuinely interests you and what you feel compelled to pursue because it seems trendy.

Well, I think my works are not something that is highly preferred in current architecture field, especially in Korea. I am not trying to say that my works are ‘better’ or ‘much more creative’, but it’s just that there are rather standard designs or preferred details for architecture competitions in Korea. In fact, JIYO Architecture haven’t won many competitions so far. 🤭

He has held roles at Blizzard Entertainment, Electronic Arts, and Riot Games. Librande’s current role is at Riot as leader Game Designer.
